When you apply to a CAREEON Flow job posting by attaching your CAREEON resume, a copy (snapshot) of the selected resume as of the time of application is provided to the hiring company. Because this constitutes providing personal information to a third party, we ask for your explicit consent every time you apply.
- Recipient
- The company that posted the job you are applying to
- Purpose
- Conducting the hiring process for that posting (document review, interview evaluation, hiring decisions)
- Information provided
- The entire resume snapshot — identity details (name, email, phone, date of birth, address, profile photo), education, work experience, detailed career descriptions, self-introduction, core competencies and cover letter
- Retention period
- Same as the retention period of the application (per the company's hiring policy). If the application is deleted, the snapshot is deleted with it.
- Right to refuse
- You may refuse to consent. In that case you cannot apply with CAREEON Resume Quick Apply, but you can still apply by uploading a PDF.
Snapshot policy
Even if you edit or delete your CAREEON resume after applying, the company sees a copy frozen at the time of application; later changes are not reflected.
If you delete your account
Even if you delete your CAREEON account, application snapshots already delivered to companies are kept to protect the hiring process and keep application records consistent. The link to your account is removed, and your original data on CAREEON is handled under the account deletion policy.
Consent records
When you consent, the terms version, time of consent, IP address and the related application are recorded and kept for dispute resolution and legal compliance.
This notice may change according to our service policy; any changes will be posted on this page.
